1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to operate the site, remember preferences, and (where you consent) analytics and marketing.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: session, CSRF, authentication — required for security and core functionality; no consent required.
- Functional: language, currency, “remember me” — improves usability.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand usage; for EU/EEA/UK users we request opt-in before enabling.
- Marketing: retargeting pixels — opt-in required; may be inactive until used.
3. Third-party cookies
Third parties may set cookies when you use embedded services, including Google (Analytics, sign-in, or Play-related widgets), Meta (for example if we embed a consent-aware pixel or social plugin), PayPal, and Yoco payment iframes. Their policies also apply.
4. Consent banner
Use the on-site cookie banner (#cookie-consent-banner) to accept or customise categories. You can reopen preferences when the banner is shown again after 12 months or a policy version change.
5. Browser controls
You can delete or block cookies via your browser. See guidance from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Last updated: content version is shown on the legal policies index; substantive changes will be reflected in the consent banner version where applicable.
